There may well be a couple of shocked faces when these pictures are seen today. Nope, not because of my terribly squinted eyes but my choice of footwear. Never did I think the day would come when I would willingly wish to purchase a pair of trainers, even back in my school days I was the girl that wore none branded fashion trainers for P.E, I even once owned at a not so young age a pair of barbie trainers with silver laces, oh yes. Initially I was left shocked at the price of a pair these days, although after advice from a friend who informed me of the amazing fact that the Junior styles come in sizes 3 to 5.5 AND a heap cheaper I was on board ready to snap up a pair.

I've treated myself to rather a lot of new clothes this week, which means again I am toying with the idea of a filming a haul video to show you all what I bought. One of the many new items included these simple velvet print leggings. Now I am pretty much a huge hater of leggings, with most of my hatred coming from those few people who fail to wear either appropriate underwear with them or not checking to see if in fact their leggings are see through before leaving the house. All too often I am walking behind a girl thinking no,no I can see your bum! Any who I fell so in love with these the other day I broke my ban (after checking all of my requirements first of course.) I doubt I will ever cave into the disco pant trend, yet this simple high waisted pair with the strip of velvet pattern are a welcome alternative to my all time favourite Dorothy Perkins jeans which I've worn to death.
