Last Monday evening I had the pleasure of meeting like minded people at the Leeds Blogger event organised by the lovely Kieron and Kelly. The Sunday evening #bbloggers chat brought the group together which luckily resulted in a meet up where we all indulged in our love of all things beauty without the worry of sounding like crazed obsessives, like I'm sure our friends think we are! The event was held at Fab Cafe in Leeds which is a delightfully quirky bar offering a selection of retro sweets to accompany your drinks whilst being surrounded by retro gaming memorabilia and WWE playing out in the background which kept the guys entertained much to the girls amusement.
Some of the fellow bloggers I met included Angelica from One Little Vice, a Londoner at heart with a love of solid soaps and a shared addiction to beauty boxes. Kelly from Kel Loves... who was incredibly sweet and welcoming as I peered over to all these people I'd never met before. Nicola from itsneecola, has the amazing advantage of working at Topshop and therefore lusting over their make up collection (jealous). Joanna from mintyessence who boasts a blog full of stunning photography and an exciting lipstick giveaway that ends shortly!
Last but not least is the wonderful Kieron from The Totality the first male blogger I've met, who put together the event with the help of Kelly and even provided us all with some amazing goodie bags on the night.
