February Favourites

It's been a very mixed bag this month with a combination of affordable drug store favourites and a couple of high end loves thrown in too. (Click words in bold for link to items)

Head and Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care - £2.99 - 250ml - Late last year I spontaneously started suffering from a dry, itchy scalp and have been on the hunt for a solution to my problem ever since. I have tried the likes of Philip Kingsley Flaky Itchy Scalp Shampoo will no results. Being a well known name for dandruff remedies Head and Shoulders became my next port of call, needless to say I need to look no further as this shampoo has eased my itching considerably and barely any flakiness remains. Boasting a minty aroma of eucalyptus it leaves hair feeling incredibly fresh and smooth with a super cheap price tag to boot.

Tea Tree Spot Stick - £2.99 - Those pesky spots have been rearing their red, sore heads again after a welcome absence over the past few months. The spot stick offers precise application to the problem area giving a tingle to the skin to confirm it is working whilst remaining gentle to the skin. Of course after repeated application it can dry out the area a little as with any spot treatment so ensure to keep the area moisturised as usual.

Sk-ii Skin Signature - £116 - 50g - Another glossy box sample which is rather overpriced for the full size product. I could never bring myself to spend so much money on a moisturiser but my god it is good. The most lightweight dreamy consistency I have ever come across in such product, it melts into the skin leaving an slightly tacky finish creating a perfect base for your make up to cling to.

MAC Party Parrot Lipstick - £14 - I posted a review on this lipstick not so long ago see here, a limited edition purchase that I am so pleased I caved in to buy as it has simply not left my lips since I purchased it. I think this gorgeous matte, bold lip has actually become a contender for my all time favourite shade.

Nivea Lip Butter Caramel - £1.49 - I'm quite the hoarder of lip balms and tend to purchase a new one a tad too often. Ive always had it drummed into me by my mum to apply a balm before bed to keep your lips plump and soft. This delicious smelling budget buy is reminiscent of a creme brulee, I find myself popping off the lid multiple times a day just for a whiff.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Nude - £3.99 - I've had this eyeliner for such a long time now but have found myself reaching for it pretty much everyday as of late. Although a white eye pencil works just as well, I doubt anyone has gleaming white eyes so a nude pencil offers more of a natural look. This pencil is incredibly smooth so doesn't pull on the sensitive eye area. A sweep of this along your waterline will leave your eyes with a noticeably brighter appearance in a second.
